This position with the Duininck Asphalt Production team offers the opportunity to support plant operations, perform daily maintenance and housekeeping, and work closely with drivers and plant leadership across multiple plant locations.
The Role:
- Assist the Plant Operator with daily maintenance, repairs, and housekeeping needs at asphalt plants.
- Direct truck drivers delivering materials to ensure safe and efficient plant flow.
- Perform cleaning tasks and equipment upkeep to maintain safe, organized work areas.
- Prepare equipment and plant components for relocation or transport when required.
- Maintain jobsite cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety requirements.
- Follow supervisor instructions closely and complete tasks with attention to detail.
Work Environment:
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Walk, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and sit for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Regularly work extended or overtime hours depending on project needs.
- Travel throughout Central & Western Minnesota, Northern Iowa, and the Eastern Dakotas.
